Doc "It's Jazzman", Sorrel/Blond Mane & Tail Tennessee Walking Horse For Sale in Missouri
$ 6,500 (Negotiable)
Doc is just AWESOME!! He is GORGEOUS with a super classy way of going. His gait is VERY SMOOTH at every speed and with a great headshake and lots of front-end action. He is a big, stocky 15 to 15.1 hand chunk of a horse. He has been ridden by men and women. His color is beautiful--a deep, rich sorrel body with a blond mane and tail.

Doc is very confident, does good on trails, and has lots of stamina. He is not spooky and SO much fun to ride because even at a slow trail walk he feels alive underneath you.

Sometimes we gait slowly down the trails and sometimes we gait up--Doc has a great flatwalk and runningwalk. He will boogey on down the trail if asked. Also, he is smooth going up AND downhill--the TWH riders reading this know what I mean. Doc is really everything a TWH should be.

Doc is gentle and sensible and will slow or stop when asked, but is NOT the horse for a beginning rider. For someone who knows how to ride and is confident, he is THRILLING!!!

He interacts well with other horses and has good hooves and health. Doc is up to date on all shots and dental, with a neg. coggins, and is just keg shod all the way around. He hops right on and off the trailer and is very agile and willing. Also, Doc is an easy keeper. He has no bad habits and has never bucked, reared, kicked, etc.

Doc certainly has potential for the showring. His sire is the world grand champion showhorse, Jazzman, and the quality is obvious. I did not take time to type in his pedigree, but he has very good papers.

Anyone who loves to ride and wants a big, classy way to get down the trails will love Doc.

Thanks for looking,

Robin (details)
SOLD!
Butterbean, Jet Black Tennessee Walking Horse For Sale in Missouri SOLD!
$ 2,200 (Negotiable)
Butterbean is a beautiful jet black 4 yr. old registered TWH gelding. He is a fabulous trail horse. Butterbean behaves like a much older horse--he is so laidback and mature for a 4 yr. old. I have ridden him everywhere. We spend every weekend riding and camping.

My barn is right behind the house, so Butterbean is handled daily and has been ridden on every type of terrain.

He is absolutely beautiful. His conformation is excellent and at 14.3 hands, he is the perfect size for a man or woman. He is very statuesque and looks very classy on the trails.

Butterbean has a very kind spirit--he is gentle to handle and ride. He is very smart and learns very quickly. He is very willing and has never refused anything I've asked of him. He has never given me trouble with any trail obstacle encountered--easily crosses logs and water with no hesitation, carefully navigates his way down steep hills or rock, and doesn't even seem to notice vehicles passing on gravel roads. He is not a spooky horse at all--the only thing he has ever been surprised by was a cow, and he just took time to stand still and look at it--obviously, he had never seen one before--and after being allowed to look at it for a minute, he was happy to calmly continue our ride.

Butterbean has been ridden with all different group sizes--from just 2 horses to a large church group. He will ride in any position in the group--he is brave enough to lead, or will ride in the middle, or last--he seems content whereever you put him.

I use a mild bit on Butterbean and he has been very easy for me to control--he slows down and stops when asked. He will ride at a slow trail walk or move on out. He is gentle but not a deadhead horse that you have to kick to make go.

He is in wonderful health with good, hard hooves. We keep our trail horses shod and Butterbean's teeth were recently floated.

Butterbean is a loving horse that wants to be with you and loves attention and grooming. He stands calmly in the crossties for bath, and even stands to be trimmed with clippers. He will stand quietly tied to the trailer for saddling and hops right on and off the trailer.

He gets along with all other horses and shares a pasture with a miniature donkey, an old horse, and our ex-show mares with colts.

Butterbean is just a very pleasant young horse with loads of potential. He really is a horse that gets better EVERY time I ride him.

If you have any questions that I haven't answered or if you would like to see or take Butterbean for a test ride, please feel free to call me anytime at 573-225-1997. But please, don't call asking if he'd be the perfect horse for your small child, 80 year old grandmother, or for your first horse. I have been very honest about my horse and he has no bad habits that I have found and I have never had a bad ride on him. Butterbean will be the perfect horse for someone who loves to ride and needs a sweet, gorgeous trail partner. I really think Butterbean has unlimited potential--he just needs his own person.

Thanks for looking,

Robin (details)
