Currently Available is Blue our 12 year old Fox Trotter Palomino Gelding.  He is well bred with Ozark Golden Prince, Twilight, Toddy's Perfection, Perfection's Renegade all on the papers along with many other greats of the Fox Trotter Industry breeding program.   Blue is approx 15.2 1/2 hands tall with a beautiful blond mane and tail that just shimmers in the sunlight with it's natural wave that makes it look as if he's had it braided overnight. Blue has been an easy keeper for us, and also gets along great with our current herd and is a lower man in the “pecking” order. His long slender build gives him many options for showing, jumping, dressage, and much more. He loads, clips (with electric clippers), trims (with hot or cold shoeing), loads easily, bathes, is traffic safe, does well with lead-line, and is great in the round pen and arena alike. He has had all of his shots and is current on his coggins, and we are so confident you will enjoy him; that he's had a recent health certificate to prepare him for his new home. He was recently trimmed and re-shod on 11/15/2011. Blue's truly sweet disposition can't help but be seen through his kind eyes and huge heart. He has definitely the puppy dog mentality with an extremely great amount of intelligence that is always willing to learn more. He takes things in stride, and has a willingness to please. He flexes well on the ground and in the saddle, responds to body language, breaks at the poll when asked, backs, and responds well to leg aids and pressure points. He is sweet to work with and enjoy and would get along with just about anyone. He rides in an easy “full cheek” snaffle bit without chin strap. You can ride him with a relaxed rein and he isn't a “run off” horse. He does well at a slow speed, or you can bring him up to a quick step and enjoy his “running walk” keeping up with the best of the fast rides. He walks right into water and puts his best hoof forward when asked. Blue will make a great trail riding partner, show horse, and or family friend.
