Kado is a 9 year old nonregistered Haflinger Gelding. Handles well under saddle and is started in harness, driving single. He has been broke to ride most of his life. He has been under my training this past spring & summer.<br><br>While I have had him this past summer, Kado has been on several trail rides, and in parades undersaddle. He has been on one 17 mile wagon train ride in harness. He has had a considerable amount of time doing groundwork and obstacle training.<br><br>Check out all his videos on my website. On the main page of my site just click on the "Kado/for sale" button to get to his page.<br><br>I feel he would make a good beginners horse in the arena under saddle with supervision. Once the beginner has more riding experience then they could handle him out on the trail.<br><br>He's calm, freindly, stands still for mounting. He halters, leads, takes wormer and vacs. Trims, clips, loads, washes, calmly saddles, and bridles up. No vices.<br>Gets along with other horses. He is not very high in the pecking order, nor does he try to be.<br><br>I can make any horse spook. His primary spook reaction is to freeze. Secondarily he would turn and trot away. He has been schooled in the one-rein-safety-stop. With hip disengagement. Kado is a pretty steady horse and has been exposed to many spooky obstacles.<br><br>I have ridden him in a J Watts D ring snaffle and driven him in a low port Kimberwick.<br><br>

Used 15+inch "Shootist" Mule Saddle. 1850's style reproduction. New price is $1,295. Asking $700 without the tapidaros or breast collar(Tapidaros extra $80). Latigos on both sides. Leather back cinch. Synthetic fleece in good condition. The mule bars of the tree are too flat for the higher withered mules I now have. It did fit the two mules in the photos.
