Here at Dream Walker Ranch we specialie in well trained, easy to handle, trail horses. Specifically Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle Horses. Our horses are top quality in every way . We make sure our trail horses are exposed to all the things you would want your horse to be able to handle. They have been down country roads, rode through the mountains, exposed to deer, turkeys, goats and dogs, rode around cars, tractors, ATV's, motorcycles, etc. They are exposed to as many different obstacles as possible to develop the best horses around. Our trail rides start in Tennessee with emphasis on confidence they are taken through the forests and mountains, country roads, creeks, farm animals, and whatever the countryside offers...we then take them through the suburbs and deserts here in Las Vegas Our horses are exposed to as many experiences on the trail as possible to develop a calm trustworthy trail mount. We are not professional horse traders and do not make our living selling gaited trail horses. It is our hobby and favorite past time. Matt and I both have full time jobs. However, enjoying time with these wonderful horses is simply our favorite job. The horses represented on our site are of those we would personally keep. I would love to keep them all! Our horses are well trained, trail experienced and sound. Buying a horse should not be a scary thing, but unfortunately there are too many less than honest people out there trying to get rid of their problems. You can always buy a less expensive horse but it will cost you in the long run. As our customers say 'you get what you pay for.' We strive to provide the best possible match and back you, with a 10 day guarantee. We search out only the best trail horses. Our horses are not from sales or auctions or trade ins'. Our horses are carefully selected and purchased from individual owners that we know. After I broke my back 12 years ago on a green broke horse, I will not get on any horse unless it truly is well trained, experienced and broke. Our horses have to be good enough to be our own personal horse. So when you see me or Matt on a horse you know it is a very broke horse. It simply is not worth our, health, name and reputation to have anything but well trained horses that we would put our family members on. Xavier is happy to go out and explore! He is very sure footed and doesn't miss a beat on the trail. He is not spooky and has a great mind. He will stand patient to groom, bathe, clip, pick his feet, worm... He has been exposed to traffic, dogs, bikes, motorcycles, schools getting out, skate boards, construction vehicles, deer, turkeys, cows, birds, wildlife, crossing water, bridges... Point him where you want to go and he will take you there. Xavier stand to mount, rides bareback, walks out on a loose rein and is very well mannered all the way around. Dan enjoys people and will come to you where ever you are. His ground manners are excellent. He is easy to catch, halter, lead, clip, bathe, tack up, load/unload and trailer. On the trail Dan is great! He will cross anything you put in his path, climb hills, carefully pick his way down steep embankments and he is not spooky either. Dan is very level headed and has been exposed to deer, turkeys, birds, dogs, bikes, motorcycle, cars, traffic, schools letting out, construction... He is very sure in himself and knows his job. Dan stands to mount/dismount, walks and gaits on a loose rein, listens to leg and verbal cues and has a soft easy to cue mouth. Dan is very quiet and enjoys being around people too. He will stand for hours to be bathed, groomed and handled. He always greets you in the stall and is always pleasant to be around. Dan would be an excellent trail mount for just about any level rider from beginners on up.
