You can leave her in the pasture for a year and then saddle her up for a trail ride or a parade with no problems at all which is what we have been doing. She loves kids, has been ridden in several parades and has gone on several one day and all weekend trail rides. My girls can jump on her bareback in the pasture and lead her all over the place with no problems. You can climb all over her with no worries, she is as sweet as they come with a huge heart. She was my oldest daughters first horse and all of my children have moved on to more advanced horses so she sits in the pasture and does a parade twice a year and that's all. She deserves a home where she can help another kid learn to ride and build their confidence. We have had her for 7 years, so a good home is a must.....she deserves that.

Chancer, Black Quarter Horse For Sale in Texas

I have owned Chancer since I was 10, and I am now 20 years old. I hate to sell him, but I am now away at college and only come home on the weekends. On weekends I ride my barrel horse so Chancer is going to waste out in our pasture. He is not ready to retire yet, he is only 18 years old. He is 100% sound and healthy, and a very easy keeper. We don't even feed him grain and he stays fat. In the past 10 years, he has never been to the vet for anything but shots. He is about 15.2 hands and stout. Could carry any size rider. I used to ride him in playdays, so he knows all the patterns. Lately we just ride him on trails. We took him last weekend to Parrie Haynes Ranch and a 9 year old boy rode him for 3 hours. He did whatever the boy asked him to do, crossed all obstacles including the creeks, and went whatever speed he wanted to go. He will walk all day long, but will lope if you ask him. When we got back home the boy rode him all over bareback in a halter. I can't say enough good things about Chancer. He doesn't have any bad habits or vices! A GOOD HOME A MUST! $2000

Sunshine is an 8yo TWH/QH cross that is gaited. She is registered with the Racking Horse Breeders’ Association and her registered name is Golden Sunlite. She has been on many trail rides, sometimes for a full weekend, at places like Parrie Haynes, Bandera, and Dana Peak Park. She has also been in several different parades including the Lampasas Spring Ho, the Copperas Cove Rabbit Fest, and the Killeen Christmas Parade. Sunshine has also been ridden in several playdays and does them willingly but is not formally trained on the patterns. She rides easily in a hackamore and prefers it to a bit. She is UTD on shots, coggins, hooves trimmed, and had her teeth floated two months ago. She has great barefoot feet and can ride over rocky terrain with no problem. She is all heart and will do just about anything you ask her to do. She has no bad habits or vices.
