PRE,PSL and S/P are the same horse with PRE more pretty, PSL and S/P more Traditional, same genetically but from two(PRE/PSL) different Registries except in NA where they all share the same Registry.

Love the Curly coated horses and want to see it go back to a the more traditional build? We have horses that are called "Curly, Curlies, Bashkir Curly, American Curly." Our opinion, like many others, is that some breeders of these horses are not paying attention to the over-all quality of the horses, only coat. PLUS WAY TO MANY TYPES! From miniature to draft size, Sporthorse/Warmblood, QH type, Gaited types, Arabian, and "who-know-what types." Thus the new BUFFALO HORSE REGISTRY & Group! Our objective is to make sure right from get go that the horses recorded are of HORSE TYPE. Small Saddle/Pony:The natural size of the wild horse.13.3 to 14.1 hands. Saddle horse:This is the horse most people think of when you say "horse" and are the best size for riding. 14.2 to 16 hands. Light Draft/Warmblood: While the types are similar in size they differ slightly in conformation. The largest one that can comfortably be ridden for any distance. 15.2hands and up but must show Draft or Iberian (Baroque)influence. All colors and most breeds welcome as Foundation Sires/Dams. They can not be called a Buffalo Horse but can be called a Foundation Buffalo Horse. To keep Foundation Buffalo Horse status they must be bred to and/or have registered offspring with wavy to extreme Curly coats and/or manes tails. Proof must be given that horse displays a willing/tractable attitude suited as a Saddle or Draft animal before any offspring is registered. Smooth coated foals from ABCR/ICHO and BHR horses are registered as Foundation. The Buffalo Horse, it`s unique coat cover/Hypo-Allergenic properties, is first and foremost a USING/WORKING PERFORMANCE mount, as such fibre collection is greatly discouraged as is the breeding of horses based mainly on and for coat type.
