Event Location - Olds Pavillion, Alberta This is a pinto and open horse show, everyone's invited! $45 day fee or $6/class for regular/open Or $25 day fee or $4/class for youth (18 and under) A show for all ages, level of riders, and breeds of horses! Halter classes with several divisons, showmanship classes, color classes, english, western, junior horse classes, lead line and walk trot classes! High point awards! Pre registration entries close May 15th/2012, but entries will be taken day of. We are currently booking for August first 2011. Merikle Waters is proud to offer quality equine training to fit your budget. We specialize in; colt starting, show training and preparation. We also offer; halter fitting, showmanship training (for you and you're horse), as well as repairing "problem" horses. Prices: Basic flat rate for 30 days including board $750. Our training goal is to produce a willing partner, who then has a resume to take with them when they leave. We don't believe in quick fixes, just quality horsemanship. We place a large focus on our client and horse relations. Your training fee includes 1 lesson per week, to keep you and your horse on the same page. This is of course optional, but highly reccomended for best results. We have had the opportunity to work with a large variety of breeds, from Caspian ponies, Gypsy Vanners, warmbloods, Morgans, Arabians, Paints, to Quarter Horses with just about everything in between. We show actively on the Pinto, Paint, and open circuit, and have shown and welsh circuit, as well as sport pony. We also ride/compete both english and western. Merikle Waters Paints And Quarters is a Small Breeding farm located just outside of a little village called New Sarepta. New Sarepta is about 20 minutes south east of Edmonton And Sherwood Park, and about 15 or so minutes from Leduc or Beaumont. We are striving to improve the Paint and Quarter Horse breed, by producing outstanding individuals who can halter, excel in performance classes or speed events, or even just be a good family horse. At Merikle Waters, we are trying to produce horses with solid minds, solid bodies, with correct conformation, gentle dispositions, proven pedigrees, that are versatile and athletic. All of our horses have outstanding dispositions, and very correct conformation, and the color is just icing on the cake. We stand One stallion currently, a 2000 APHA Palomino Tovero Stallion, "Millenium Miracle", Who is a grandson of the great Mr Faceman, and his pedigree includes Two Eyed Jack X2, Painted Eternal, Leo, Coys Bonanza, Bill Cody, Music Maker and many more. He is producing exactly what we want right now, and although an up and coming stallion, is drawing more and more attention every year. Millenium has 14 foals on the ground with more to come, producing so far every pattern and color, but yet no solid chestnut/sorrel foals to date. The foals off of his first crop are showing supreme willingness in the beginning of their training, as well as great athleticism. "Millenium Miracle" is standing to a limited book for 2008, get your little "Miracle" while you can! We have two stallion prospects as well, A 07 Buckskin Tobiano stallion "Milleniums Legacy", and 07 chestnut Overo "Tristans Millenium". Being more the "halter type", Tristan will hit the show ring in 08, versus "Milleniums Legacy" who will be used in cutting or reining in his 3 yr old year. Tristan is also for sale, Private treaty. Canadian Pinto Horse Association in USA/Canada

CPtHA is a non-profit association, with the goal of involving the community in horse healthy activities, low stress shows with a fun atmosphere, and promoting the pinto horse. We have a "R.O.M" program, as well as provide youth programs. We are still seeking sponsorship to reach our goal of eliminating youth show fee's at our shows. In May, we have our annual spring show, and in August, we have our national fall show. Be sure to stop by our booth at the mane event, and our booth & demo's at Battle of the breeds!
