Barefoot Trimming- Make The Transition in USA/Canada
in Local Services --> Farrier
Not all barefoot trims are created equal. It is not enough to simply remove a horses shoes. Very different from the traditional pasture trim. As a barefoot trimmer I evaluate each horse as an individual and since I have studied the internal structure within the hoof I trim following those structures to set up the proper mechanics needed to grow a strong and health hoof.
The barefoot trim allows optimal expansion of the hoof, circulation, traction, shock absorption, and much more for your horse. It also allows healing of damage caused by incorrect trimming or shoeing.
I believe and have seen that all horses can be successful barefoot, from trail horses to competitive barrel horses.
Call me at (519) 660-9719 and leave me a message explaining any questions you may have about your horses feet. If you leave me a voicemail I guarantee there wont be weeks before a return call, that evening or next day MAX to make an appointment.
It is very likely that I am already in your area, so give me a call.
Experience with everything from Minis to Clydesdales, goats and donkeys.
Very reasonable prices. Discounts for multiple horses. (details)

I teach you and horse together so that you can carry on his/her training & communication at home. A big downfall of some training is that once a trainer finishes with your horse, you have no idea how to ride it or work with it once you get it home. Its important to know more about communicating with and developing your horse yourself because every time you touch your horse you are either training or un training it.
A great horse is a by-product of great horsemanship
Off property training offered year round
On-site opens in April
Basic Horsemanship: The foundations of horsemanship, from groundwork basics to transferring this knowledge onto your horses back; the essential foundations of basic ridden movements and working on the fundamental body positions for both the rider and horse.
Colt-starting program; this program is designed to create a relaxed and willing mind that will help your young horse naturally respond to the best of his physical ability. Young horses need kindness, consistency and purpose. Our goal is to find kind and consistent ways of communicating that will help him find his purpose in the horse-man-relationship.
Horse progression program; this program is designed to help your mature horse learn to be his best, not because he has to, but because he wants to. Our goal is to communicate in a natural way that will give him confidence to respond to our purpose. We work to create an environment that will invite that older horse into the best of a partnership with a purpose.
Round Penning: This covers round penning techniques, which are beneficial to your horse in either, the starting, re- training and anything in general. I start with a basic round penning and progress onto a variety of different things depending on requirements, such as:
- Starting the young horse.
- Working with the yearling.
- Re- education.
- Desensitization

Lilash Equestrian Western Riding Lessons in USA/Canada
in Training --> Lessons & Instruction
I offer private and group western riding lessons, whether you are riding for the first time or want to take your riding to the next level. Lessons focus on developing and improving a balanced seat, quiet hands, and clear, consistent cues that are the foundations of any discipline. My goal is to provide a safe and fun riding experience for the recreational rider, and develop skills that can be used to succeed in any western riding discipline.
I have school horses for all levels of riders, or riders can take lessons on their own horse. Lessons are 1 to 1/2 hours, and include tacking up and horsemanship instruction. In order to maintain individualized and safe instruction, group lessons are never more that 3 riders.
Lesson horse, tack and large outdoor arena are provided in addition to instruction. No experience needed, all welcome. Instructor brings more than a decade of experience in western disciplines and competition, as well as a commitment to being a lifelong learner.
Lessons are available by appointment. Lessons are for 1 to 1 1/2 hours each week. Riding helmets are required for youth and are recommended for all and are available to borrow. Reasonable rates.
