Peppy is an 8 year old quarterhorse. We have had her approximately 10 months and been riding her regularly. She has been started on barrels and poles and doing well. We hauled her to a show just to see how she would act in the alley and with everything going on around her and she did like a pro and even placed 1st in poles! She ties, bathes, stands for farrier, can clip but is not real happy about it, loads easy. She has never bit at, kicked at or been mean in any way. She bucked once when we first got her but we realized it was that she didn't like a back cinch and we havent put one on her since. She is UTD on everything. Reason for selling...my husband called and went to look at this horse for sale for us and when he saw her, he couldn't bare to leave her there because she was not being taken care of. She had not had her feet done in so long that her hoof walls had curled under and she was walking on them. She was also under weight. He bought her because he felt sorry for her. We have had our farrier working on her feet since we got her and she looks great now. There is some signs on the back left foot still, but she has never come up lame and rides fine. Her teeth had never been done and were 1 1/2" too long. I was looking for a lesson horse, and ended up getting her to bring her back. I have put a couple of advanced beginners on her and she does fine with them. She has a super smooth lope and a sliding stop! She will make someone a great little horse!
