Buckeye, Dapple Grey Quarter Horse For Sale in Indiana
SOLD!
$ 7,500
Buckeye has an incredibly sweet personality, he loves being handled and has a very forgiving nature. He is a great mover and would do well in lower level dressage and eventing. He has been used in an english lesson program for the past summer and is one of the best lesson horses I have ever had. Buckeye is always very laid back and is extremely careful and steady with young/inexperienced riders and then he is able to really move out and do more when asked.
Buckeye has left the farm for schooling and trail riding many times. He loads and trailers perfectly and is as calm and sensible as he is at home. He has a wonderful work ethic and has schooled XC through Novice, jumped ditches and off banks into water like it was nothing. Nothing rattles him, he has no vices or health issues. Currently wearing front shoes although can go barefoot.

I cannot say enough good things about this horse, he's truly a pleasure to have around and just has a wonderful mind.

Buckeye will only go to a home that is a great match for him.

Watch video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q535NY5PkE (details)
Northern Actress, Bay, 4 White Socks Thoroughbred For Sale in Indiana
$ 7,000 (Negotiable)
May has a huge amount of potential in a number of directions but needs someone who can dedicate a lot of time to her. Due to my time restrictions, her training over the past year has been very inconsistent, however with a little work (not nearly as much as I would have liked) we placed second in Novice at Penny Oaks Horse Trials early this summer and she did an amazing job. She jumped double clear to finish on her dressage score and that was her first ever "rated" event.
May did have a very successful career in the "A" hunter circuit with her previous owner but I am an eventer so have taken her more in that direction. She is very good on the ground but ideally needs to be in a consistent routine to get the best out of her. She is a seasoned show horse and is really sensible at shows and new places. Just needs a refresher course in her training.

May is worth far more than I am asking for her but I can't stand to see her potential going to waste because I do not have the time to dedicate to her and I need the space in my barn. She will only go to a home with an experienced rider and handler who can continue her training or she could possibly be a potential broodmare as she has excellent bloodlines.

May is definitely more than capable of going at least to prelim with the right person. She is a confident jumper and listens well. XC obstacles have not created any problems, ditches, water, etc.. Auto lead changes.

She has had the past few months off so price reflects the need to sell her and certainly not the quality of the horse.

Price is negotiable to the right home as that is my main priority.
