Peaches N Creme, Sorrel With White Sox & Blaze Appendix For Sale in California
$ 1,500 (Negotiable)
PRICE REDUCED!!!!! MUST SELL!!!!!!
Born on March 18, 2009, “Peaches-N-Creme” is a beautiful filly who possesses extraordinary bloodlines. Bred at the renowned Twissleman Ranch (Rowly & Cathie Twisselman are distinguished in the Quarter Horse World, producing all-around horses who compete at the top of their discipline, whether it be cutting, reining, roping, or barrels), Peaches hails from incomparable Quarter Horse & Thoroughbred bloodlines.

Peaches is an OUT-CROSS, intentionally bred to produce what the Twisselmans call “hybrid vigor.” This particular pairing is designed to get more size & speed, yet maintain the great disposition, athletic ability, conformation and good looks of a Quarter Horse. It all came together in this little filly!

Peaches’ mother is Georgia, a bay Quarter Horse hailing from Doc Bar, Poco Lena, Fourble Bar & Georgia Gal on her mother’s side, and Jewel’s Leo Bars, Christy Jay, El Pobre, & Noche Oscura on her father’s side. In short, these are the BEST COW HORSE LINES available. Georgia was SHOWN AT THE NCHA FUTURITY and is a spectacularly cowy horse, successfully competing in team penning and roping and EARNING OVER $90,000!!! Best of all, Georgia is a tremendous mother, birthing extremely sweet, kind, intelligent, sensitive & cowy foals such as Peaches.

Peaches father is none other than Barrossab, a Thouroughbred hailing from such legendary bloodlines as Seattle Slew & Secretariat. Quite simply, there is no more iconic line in the Thoroughbred world than Barrossab’s. On his father’s side, Barrossab is out of “Gone West,” who is by Mr. Prospector and out of Secrettame (an own daughter of Secretariat) out of an own daughter called Tim Tam. They are all Triple Crown Winners. On his mother’s side, he’s out of a mare called Mysteries, by Seattle Slew, who’s by Bold Reasoning & out of My Charmer. Again, Triple Crown Winners. In addition, Barrossab is known for producing the best minded, easy to start babies.

In short, Peaches is a very special little filly. She has a prominent white blaze, as well as 3 white socks and a snip. She is receptive to people and has been well-handled, started in natural horsemanship methods and accepting of human hands all over her body. She is EXTREMELY AFFECTIONATE and will always walk directly up to me to have her head and neck scratched. She is the same with my young boys, patient with their busy movements and flighty pats. She has a good mind and an even temperament, promising to be a big girl with an incredible athleticism that’s already evident. The price is negotiable, but please be reasonable (no low ball offers)!!! If you have any additional questions, please call Brian at 559-907-1000. (details)

Peek-a-Choo, Black/Gray Mini Cross Pony For Sale in California
SOLD!
$ 2,000 (OBO)
This is the most difficult horse sale our family has had to make, but it is time to sell our little Peek-a-Choo. He is a very special, unique little horse and I can honestly say that he taught both of my boys how to ride. He is BROKE. Really broke! If a pony could be "bombproof," this guy is.

From the day we got him, my then 5 and 4 year old boys have done everything with this little pony - picked his feet, climbed all over him, saddled him by themselves, given him baths, and most importantly, safely ridden him both bareback and under saddle. He is a sweet, gentle, kind little pony and he has had more kids on his back than I can count. He has been taken for "show and tell" at school, exercised with a golf cart around our neighborhood, carried my sons safely to get lunch at the local sandwich shop (and tied calmly to a tree while we all ate), and navigated Yosemite like a pro. He slept overnight on the picket line with the big horses, walked CALMLY through the covered bridge over the Merced River, and rode nicely for my son around the golf course trail. (We have had many big horses spook on this trip and as always, Peek-a-Choo stunned us with his relaxed attitude through it all).

However, my boys are now ready to transition. My husband and I ride gaited horses and though Peek-a-Choo can still easily carry our boys, the gaits are incompatible. We bought Peek-a-Choo for a season (to get our boys into horses without scaring them) and this little pony has exceeded our wildest expectations.

As for his price, you simply can't pay enough for a horse/pony like this. He is priced based on his MIND and the peace of mind he will give you when putting your children on him. I spent $5500 on a 19 year old horse for the same reason, and he taught both of my older children how to ride. If you skimp on price, you could end up scaring your children away from horses completely and as far as I'm concerned, better to pay the money up front for a horse you can trust than to save a little money for a horse that isn't predictable.

As for the standard questions, Peek-a-Choo literally hops into the trailer. His best buddy is our giant Tennessee Walking Horse, whom he stands under most of the day. He has NEVER kicked and has no vices. Though we've never tried it ourselves, his previous owner used to bring Peek-a-Choo into their house! (And he was also in a couple of movies in Los Angeles).

If you have any questions, please call Kerry at 559-903-8393. I have lots of video that I will post shortly (you will note that my son LOVES Native Americans and is often dressed like an Indian - Peek-a-Choo was a real live prop in his imaginary play!). Needless to say, this pony must go to a long-term, FABULOUS home...

(details)
