Andy competed in the Double L Ultimate Cowboy Trail Challenge, and ended up winning the amateur 18-50, got res champ over all horse (mule and donk categories too), and Reserve OVER ALL (30 riders)!!! What an absolute doll he was!! VIDEO OF BOTH RUNS AVAILABLE!!!<br><br>I bought Andy as a reining prospect, as that is what I mostly do now (haha or try to). He does actually have a pretty big stop, and is the only one I've owned that slides for fun when turned out. I think he gets really bored doing "arena work", so I've gotten to where I try not to torture him with it if I dont have too. He LOVES being out in the brush, or doing EXCA type obstacles... honestly, anything other than going around in circles would better suite him. Also been started with a cap gun. Both on ground and in the saddle and was great!!<br> <br><br>If you are looking for an EXTREME COWBOY RACE prospect... this is the horse... he will do anything you point him at!! (will get some pics/video of him on a course). Drags, water, curtains, flags, teeter bridges, jumps, tarps, poppers, swing a rope. Notta is a super cute boy. Gentle enough for my 10 yr old daughter to ride. Just get on and go! I get on ice cold with no problems... he wants to please!! Started with reining manuevers and doing well. Has been ridden out thru the brush quite a bit, as well as been hauled to multiple facilities. He hobbles, clips, stands for farrier, etc. etc. Can swing and throw a rope off of him. Open/close gates etc... he is a handy little horse. <br><br>I own his 1/2 brother "Tipper", who has been a true all around horse. "Tipper" has earned his AQHA Am Performance ROM with points in Horsmanship, Cowhorse, Barrels, Poles, Hunter Hack, & Reining. He also won me the Justin Rookie of the Year for NV, and placed us in the Top 10 Nationally. He has won the Region 7 Nov AM All Around Saddle 2 yrs in a row, making a total of 3 saddles and close to 15 buckles in 2 yrs of showing.
