Bob’s Cinnamon Lightning<br>DOB: 5/22/2008; 14.3 H<br>Sire: Zeus’s Black Lightning -- Dam: Sycamore’s Midnight Milly<br>Registered RMHA. <br><br>Cinnamon is a beautiful chestnut mare who has a great conformation (sturdy bones) and wonderful attitude. She’s sweet and loving, and very easy to handle. Excellent for the farrier, and handles vaccinations and worming quietly. She was born on our place (I helped with her birth!), and so she's very comfortable with people.<br><br>She had two months of ground work during the spring of 2011, and then she's been under saddle since May of 2011. She’s been really quiet on the trail as well as in the arena. She stands quietly for mounting (from the ground, or along side of the fence). Her gait is really nice out on the trail, smooth and steady. <br><br>We’ve been doing lots of riding on the trail, without any other horses, and she’s doing great with that as well! No nervousness at all. She will move out in a group, and position doesn't matter to her. She will walk easily into a pond, and will walk down a bank in order to cross the creek as well. She continues to get lighter in her back up, and will sidepass too! She’ll let you open and shut a gate from her back. I've built a short bridge obstacle, which she'll get onto without difficulty. <br><br>With her looks and height, she’d be a great addition to your breeding herd, and would be a good base to try to get some red chocolate foals out of her! She produced a gorgeous filly for us two years ago (Ebony), so we’ll use Ebony to replace her in the breeding herd. Angel has had lots of groundwork over the years, and is a fun horse under saddle. She has a super-smooth gait, and can walk, gait, canter, back up and sidepass easily. She will enter a pond and cross creeks willingly. <br>Angel is sensitive to her rider’s confidence, so I would say she belongs with a confident beginner on up. <br>Her bloodlines would make her a great addition to your breeding herd, especially if you're using a chocolate stallion. Great attitude and easy keeper. We usually just get her hooves trimmed, unless we're headed up the mountain into the rocky country.
