This versatile Percheron/Paint
draft-cross is the ideal mount for a
confident intermediate or strong adult
rider (mainly due to his size &
strength) that is looking to trail ride,
compete or drive. Has an easy-going
personality and a kind nature, making
him a favorite at the barn.
extremely easy keeper, content to be
stalled or turned out, he is UTD on all
cares, barefoot, sound and healthy.
Stands quiet for tacking, hitching,
groomer, farrier, etc. Loads like a pro!
Very traffic-safe - doesn't flinch at
dogs, buses, bikes, motorcycles, flags,
etc. Not totally bombproof, but darn
close! He has no vices and is a pleasure
to handle on the ground. No kick, no
bite, no rear, no buck. He has three
solid, very clean gaits - tracks well -
and hacks out alone or in company. Can
get strong, so not for a rank beginner
or child. Was broke to drive, doubles,
as a youngster, though we have mainly
used him for light logging and sledding.
He would serve well for trail riding,
dressage, pleasure driving or farming.
At liberty, he has a lovely extended
trot; if dressage is your interest, he
would go a long way - very quick
learner. Not ring or barn sour.
Uncomplicated to handle, patient and
forgiving. Would make a great dressage
or pleasure driving prospect at a great
price. His flashy looks and gaits are
sure to get you noticed in the ring, on
the road or on the trail!
hard to let him go, but he has so much
to offer, he deserves to be put to more
use than he is right now! Hank will
bring a lot of joy to your life so I am
looking for a great home for him. Email
for more pics, video and info. He is
best in person! Price negotiable to the
