Maggie is a great all around mare with a
pleasant temperament. Maggie has been
used in 4-H for drill team with flags,
barrels, poles, keyhole and trail
riding.We have recently retired Maggie
to a light trail horse, pasture buddy or
broodmare only as she has been diagnosed
with a slight case of Ringbone. This has
no effect on her currently other than a
very,very slight limp. Maggie has foaled
3 foals in the past and is a good mom
with easy breeding and is currently
open. She is up to date on all
vaccinations, and is current with all
worming. Maggie is a very easy keeper
and requires no grain to maintain her.
She is given a vitamin mineral
supplement only in the winter when there
is no pasture. Her feet are trimmed
every 6 wks and is bare foot currently.
We only put shoes on her in the spring
and summer for trail riding, otherwise
goes very well barefoot. The price is
