Deacon is quarter horse quiet, medium
hunter build, just enough color without
apping out. Solid wether on trail or at
the show. placing in halter, hunter
over fences, low hunter, equitation, and
hunter hack. Extends for english, slow
legged enough for western. Will speed up
or slow down according to what you ask.
Perfect on trails, been there, seen and
done it all, parades, water, mud, over
night camping at Salt Fork, AEP, Old
Man's Cave. no spook, traffic safe,
leads, loads, hauls, bathes, clips, good
for the farrier, always a gentleman.
Deacon was my english horse but my
arthritis has put my show career to a
minimum . He has small bump on the side
of his back towards his hip but it's
never bothered him. Vet said it was
calcium from an injury he got playing
with another horse as a yearling. He is
perfectly sound and very agile. I
would be willing to trade for a smooth
gaited horse to trail ride or will him
sell outright in order to buy a Tenn
walker.
