"Love" was my training project while I
was at Michigan State University. She
was started as a 2 year old in 2008,
although it was my assigned horse and I
have done nearly all of the training on
her from day one, everything was
overseen by a professional trainer. As
many people know, MSU is a public barn
so there are always greenies and non
horse owners walking through. The day I
decided to take "Love" home, a todler
scremed as he ran up to her and wrapped
himself around one of her legs. she did
nothing, just stood there looking at
him. As a 2 year old, I knew that I
could not pass up this type of
temperment.
After love came home
I decided that, although she was already
green broke and ready to show, we needed
to step back and go over in small steps
and great detail EVERYTHING from the
ground up. This is what we had been
working on until this past winter until
I went to Florida for work. I am now
engaged to be married and am picking up
more hours at work to save up for the
big day. I really do not want to sell
this horse, but in the right
circumstance I will. If you have read
all of this then you will understand.
The only reason I have a price on here
is because she is worth that and so much
more. I would even do a lease to the
right person who is looking for a buddy.
She is a bit herd bound but that
passes if you spend enough time with her
for her to see you as a friend who she
has fun with. She is very willing and
wants to please. Goofy and loves any and
all attention: clipping, bathing,
grooming, anything. Well built to do
anything, but most like her as an
english prospect.
