Grey is as sweet as they come, very
athletic, and truly an all around horse!
Hes a really good heading horse, and
does fairly well on the heeling side.
Hes got a great handle on him, side
passes, open gates etc. Ive only seen
him roped off of once, - he was quite in
the box, NO issues at all. The awesome
thing about Grey is, when your done
roping you can walk out and throw the
kids up on him and he'll take great care
of them! With just a little bit of
training he'd make a nice western
pleasure horse and could do well in that
arena also. Hes got a good enough
handle he could easily run the barrel
and pole patterns (hes not trained on
barrels, just has a lot of natural
ability and a big heart to please).
Grey would make an AWESOME first show
horse. There is a lot more though ...
when you want a dependable easy going
trail horse that will go anywhere you
point him ... hes your guy!! Load the
kids up on him, he doesnt mind being
ridden double or even triple. Weve got
LOTS of pictures and a small video of my
7 year old riding him. Call with any
questions. 100% sound, no vices, ties,
clips, good for the farrier, loads
easily. Weve ponied other horses off of
him, hell drag ANYTHING. Rides in the
front, middle or back in a group of
horses or great by himself. Horses like
him are HARD to find!!! We were told he
has some dressage training also, but we
only ride western, so I can't speak
about how good he is in that arena, but
I wouldn't doubt that he did awesome!!!
