Piper is very stable purebred Welsh
pony. This pony has experience driving,
doing pony club, jumping in the arena
and on the trail. He is not spooky at
all and beginners and non-riders are
safe on him but because he is
exceptionally smart the rider should be
prepared to ask for compliance or he
will take advantage. He prefers the
trail over arena work and goes easily in
a snaffle bit. He is the first one to
tackle new and scary obstacles out on
the trail. We have always ridden him
English. He can pack a small adult if
necessary but looks best with a child.
He has never foundered, is great for the
farrier and vet. He trailers easily,
ties and cross-ties. He bathes and
clips. He has been shod in other years
but is presently barefoot and he goes
well that way as long as he isn't always
on hard surfaces. He is up-to-date on
feet, teeth, worming and shots. He is
very much beloved but is sadly outgrown
and will only be sold to an approved
