Fresco is an
12 yr old OldenburgXThoroughbred out of
Flower King D. He has been with us for
almost 5 years, and shown from FEI
Children's to Second Level to FEI
Jr's.
Fresco has a great
personality. He is curious and
interested in his work. He works hard
for his rider, and has developed 3 solid
gaits .Fresco is a school master to
Second Level, with some work to do to
perfect third level movements, but was
successful while showing at the FEI
Junior Level. Fresco has had lots of
show experience and is comfortable in
the show environment. He stands quietly
for farrier /vet work and showers,
trailers well, hacks well with others
and on his own. Fresco currently is
turned out for 8 hours a day with two
mares, but has also been turned out
24/7, for 10 - 12 hours with two other
geldings and on single turn out for
about 6 hours.
Fresco and his
rider have won many classes and
championships at each level of showing.
2007 they were Ontario Champions at EC
First Level, 2008 Ontario Reserve
Champions at EC Second Level and 2009
Ontario Champions at EC Second Level.
Scores ranged from 64-70% over those
three years. 2010 was a run for the
National Team at the FEI Junior Level.
Technical scores between 60-63%, and
Freestyle scores between
65%-68%.
Fresco is not for a
rider just starting out, as he has a lot
of extra buttons as far as movements go,
but can take a Junior or an Adult
Amateur along their dressage training
through the lower levels up to third. He
has had no jumping
experience.
OWNERS ARE VERY
MOTIVATED TO SELL!
Currently Fresco
is being maintained at second / third
level, but rider has no time to progress
his training and continue riding him.
Over the July 23/24 weekend Fresco
competed at Dressage at the Park at
Third level where he received a 63% and
a 64%, winning both classes and was the
Gold Third Level Champion
