Tellus is a 2003, 16hh chestnut mare
with a star. She is a registered
Thoroughbred but never raced. She was a
promising eventer competing at the
Pre-training level ready to move up to
training (3’3”) when she was sidelined
by a ligament injury. She was treated
and has been on rest for a year,
unfortunately at the last re- assessment
of her injury the ligaments were not
healing as well as hoped. The Vet has
said she is serviceable for light riding
walk, trot and a little canter. She is
currently being ridden 3 days a week.
Tellus would make an ideal broodmare due
to excellent blood lines :sire Mantles
Star dam Affirmed Bel or she would be
happy as a companion horse. She is
calm, loving and likes to be pampered.
She is most happy with an “in and out”
type set up. She has good feet but does
need shoes. She is an easy keeper. She
rides in a snaffle. She is up to date on
teeth and shots. Owner has school
commitments and needs to find her a
forever home.
