Ranger, is an 7-9 year old quarter horse
cross. Solid bay and about 14.2- 15
hands tall, very solidly built, more
like a foundation QH. Stands for vet,
farrier, UTD on all shots, teeth were
checked about 6 months ago and didn't
need any work then but may soon.
Ranger is a sweet horse, he has a
temperment a lot like a halflinger. Can
be stubborn if you let him, but is
willing to please. If he likes you he
will give you his all. All he has done
is trail riding; he went on the Allegan
benefit ride this April and did
wonderful. But has great potenial for a
4-H horse. I put 30 days of training on
him spring of 2009 and he is very smart,
level headed, and learns quickly. I am
selling him for a friend only because
his gait is not right for her. She has a
bad hip and needs a smoother stride.
We are looking for the best home
possible, and will be picky, he knows
who he likes and that is a must for us.
