Scoot is a wonderful trail horse with
lots of trail miles and some show
experience, mostly versatility events.
He'll go anywhere you ask him to and all
with very comfortable gaits barefoot.
He canters both leads and does lead
changes, backs, sidepasses, opens gates,
turns on the haunches and forehand,
lunges both on a line and at liberty on
voice command, bathes clips and self
loads in a trailer, and has had 2 years
natural horsemanship training. He has
wonderful ground manners and loves
attention. With consistent riding I
have even ridden him bridleless. I have
his temperment as a 5 because he is not
a child's horse and on occassion can get
a little foward, but if you know how to
do a one rein stop and lateral flexion
to refocus his attention, he is fine.
He does NOT buck, rear or bolt. He does
best with a buddy so I prefer he not go
to a one horse home. The only reason I
am selling him is because I am
relocating cross country and cannot take
him with me. A good home is a must and
price is negotiable to the right home.
