I have a black and white Tennessee
walking mare for sale. She is very broke
to ride. We are getting rid of her
because we are trying to buy a house and
need the extra money. She walks, racks,
and paces. All gaits are very
comfortable. I don't know a terrible lot
about walking horses but she is
comfortable slow and fast. She is
occasionally spooky but gets better the
more she is ridden. She has spirit but
she is also gentle. Compared to some of
the walking horses I've been around she
is a baby doll and broke way better. She
is always the first one to walk up to
you in the pasture and wants to be
ridden. Saddles well and shoes well. She
currently doesn't have shoes on but is
up to date with her worming. She has a
beautiful long mane and would make a
great brood mare. She responds to leg
pressure and gives to the bit very well.
We do not ride her in a walking horse
bit because her mouth is too tender. She
rides in a regular tom thumb with a
loose chin strap. Like I said she is a
gentle baby and loves attention she is
not the least mean spirited and would
make someone a great riding horse. And
she is broke a lot better most of the
walking horses I have been around
because I enjoy riding a broke horse who
listens. She also has good conformation,
good feet, and no problems physically.
