We have owned this six year old gelding
since he was three years old and have
used him for field trials. This horse
stands about 15. 1 hands tall with a
nicely put together, stocky build. His
coat is a nice medium to dark brown with
a white mane and tail. He has a blaze on
his face and matched rear stockings.
This is the type of horse that gets
noticed. He has a flat walk, running
walk, and short lope. All of the gaits
are very smooth. He neck reins, backs up
and stands like a statue for you to get
on and off. The farrier loves him
because of his manners and you can clip
his bridle path, nose, feet, and even
the outside of his ears without having
to twitch him. He loads on command and
hauls like the trailer is empty. This is
a been there and done that type of
horse. He has plenty of get up and go
but is very easy to handle. You can ride
him all the time or put him up for three
or four months and still ride right off
on him like you rode him the day before.
He has been exposed to almost
everything, dogs, shooting, tractors,
4-wheelers, mud, creeks, and ditches and
handled it all without hesitation. You
can ride him in any size group or by
himself. He doesn't seem to care. This
horse has plenty of stamina and can
easily go all day for several days once
he is in shape. He is completely up to
date on all of his shots and is wormed
every two months. His coggins was done
last October and his teeth were floated
at the same time. This horse has never
been sick or had a colic or any foot
problem, we ride him barefooted. He is
completely healthy and sound and always
has been. We are selling these horses
because we are cutting way back on field
trials. For more information, pictures,
