Tex has quite the outgoing personality,
has spent the last two years teaching a
12 year old the ropes of horse
ownership. She has outgrown him and Tex
would prefer not to jump. He is the
perfect horse for a timid adult or teen
who would like to learn dressage and do
some trail riding and needs a quiet,
confidence building horse. Tex is
TOTALLY reliable. He is very safe on the
trails for novice riders. He is easy at
the w/t/c, moves his shoulder/haunches,
beginning to learn to stretch and
playing with a bit of lateral work. He
has great gaits- they're like a small
version of a big horse- making him is
easy to ride, but not so easy that you
can take your position for granted
because he's so smooth.

He lives outside, is
a fairly easy keeper, wears front shoes
in the summer, barefoot in the winter.
