Bones is a 6-7 year old,
unregistered, Arabian gelding. He is
15.1HH. He has been under saddle for a
few months, but is still green. He W/T/C
under-saddle and lunging. He has been on
a handful of trail rides and always does
wonderful. He is easy to catch, halter,
lead, tie, groom, saddle, mount/unmount,
load/haul. Stands good for farrier. Over
all easy guy to get along with. Bones is
UTD on farrier, vet, and dental work. He
needs at least an intermediate rider
only due to the fact that he is still
green. He could go with an advanced
beginner only if working with a trainer.
He isn't hard to control (I ride him in
a mild snaffle bit), he doesn't buck or
rear, he just needs someone who knows
what they're doing. He would be an ideal
candidate for a more experienced 4-Her.
I have ridden him in a western saddle,
and bareback. But, he would look very
handsome under english tack!
This
could be a partial or full lease.
Partial you would pay half of everything
(board, grain, farrier, any vetting,
etc.) and would be able to ride 3-4 days
a week. Full lease would mean you pay
for everything, and go to the barn
everyday to feed/work/ride him. Lease
prices will vary. His board is $65 plus
any hay they put in the field. It has
been running about $100 total for the
winter and cheaper in the
summer.
He is currently boarded
in Newark at a nice, small facility.
There is a small indoor arena and 100
acres of on-site trails. I may consider
an off-site lease, only under certain
conditions.
Sale price is $1500,
negotiable. If you're interested in
buying him, I have a couple conditions.
I will require that you sign a "first
right to refusal" contract stating that
if you, for any reason, have to sell
Bones.. you must contact me before
advertising him. I will also require
frequent updates, and a few home
visits.
E-mail or call with
questions.
***I may trade
for a horse that is, or will be over
15.3HH. Horse must have good
conformation and a good attitude. No
younger than two. If younger than 3 and
horse has been started under saddle, I
will not consider the horse. Preferably
registered, but it isn't a big deal.***
Price: $ 1,500 (Negotiable)
