A rising 3 yr old gelding by Apanarde
out of a Cheops Z mare. This youngster
is nicely started under saddle and is
showing an abundant desire to work and
learn. His daisy cutter movement
indicates high level hunter and his
chute jumping shows excellent technique
and scope. “Hal” is already showing
quality and balance in his gaits under
saddle and is ready to join an organized
training program. He is well versed in
the barn life, trims, grooming and
trailering.
Halabalou’s sire
Apanarde was 1st place of his stallion
test in Avanches, Switzerland, with an
index score of 137.33 in dressage and
133 in jumping. His sire Apartos WF, a
paternal half-brother to the Canadian
mount Money Talks, Moet et Chandon
Airport, the stallions April and
Alcatraz, was himself a very successful
Grand Prix level jumper that was also
shown up to Prix St. George level in
dressage. On “Hal’s” dam side, Cheops Z
is well known in Western Canada for
producing athletic horses in all
disciplines. Halabalou’s ½ sister
Gapanardee was sold to California and is
currently cleaning up in the baby
