Heart is a 14 year old thoroughbred
gelding who was part of a University
lesson program. Prior to his career at
the University he began his eventing
career and competed through Novice
level. He was an asset to the program
for 4 years where he participated in
multiple lessons daily as well as
intercollegiate hunt seat and dressage
team shows. He is fairly sensitive and
had a difficult time supporting multiple
riders in a day. Heart bonds well with a
confident rider. He retired from the
lesson program in the Spring of 2008.
Since his retirement he has excelled. He
is still used in Intercollegiate
Dressage Association shows where he
competes in training level test 3 and 4.
He competed at first level in the summer
of 2009, participated in the
Massachusetts Equine Exposition in
November 2009, and has participated in
clinics with Verne Batchelder and Liz
Austin. He is for sale due to a career
change.
