Gypsy will be 4 years old in March 2010.
She is a beautiful sorrel with flax mane
and tail, and is approx 15 H. I have
talked with her previous owner, who bred
and raised her. She is 1/2 Standardbred,
1/2 Walking Horse. The walking horse's
sister was a speed horse around their
area and he said she is still talked
about today. He also said Gypsy was at
least 20 mph at the time he owned her.
She breaks even in the front and is a
flashy mare. She does have a scar on a
back leg from an electrical fence wire.
She seems to have no problem from that.
When I got her home off the trailer, she
had a slight limp in the front.
Evidently, she did something during the
ride home. I did not ride her for
several weeks and she is fine, not
bothered by that at all. I will begin
working her again. For an additional
$600, Gypsy can be bred to one our speed
single-footing stallions, our black
EZD's Big Mac or buckskin Rowdy Rawhides
Wiley. I've been consistently riding
this mare and she seems to be about 18
mph at present. She breaks even in her
slow gait with a slick keg. She is
steady improving! With what she has
shown me, the price is subject to go up
in the near future.
Price: $ 2,500 (Price is Firm)
