Mark is a 15h bay Arabian gelding. He
is 8 years old, turning 9 in April, and
has always been a joy to work with.
Mark is for lease only, as I will be
leaving for college in the fall and I
would like someone to be working him and
giving him the attention he deserves
while I am not there.
Mark has a
very attractive head and kind eyes, with
a cute snip and 2 white front socks. He
is not spooky at all, and the rare times
where he gets nervous, he just needs you
to remind him he is okay and he will
move right on. No bolt, buck, or rear,
just stops until you ask him to move
forward.
He has shown locally in
hunt seat and is always in the top 3 of
his class, no matter the size. He's got
a nice long and low frame and a big
floaty trot. He has shown a little bit
over jumps, and will be ready this show
season to do so more competitively. At
home, he has jumped 2'9", but is
consistently doing 2', 2'3".
Mark
is great with children and beginners on
the flat, but over fences he needs a
strong and confident
rider.
Mark's bloodlines are
super, with names such as Bask, Witraz,
El Ghazi and Cognac as close up as the
3rd and 4th generations. He has never
had any major soundness or health
problems, the biggest one being getting
stung by a couple of bees in his hind
and being slightly off for a couple of
days. He is very sturdy and solid and
can always be trusted.
Mark is
boarded right next to Gay City State
Park, where there are miles of trails.
Mark is very confident and crosses
water. He likes to lead or follow,
whichever you prefer, and has seen baby
strollers, dirtbikes, dogs off of
leashes, bicycles, umbrellas... you name
it, he's experienced it and he doesn't
care.
He has no vices and is a
complete pleasure to be around. He is
very polite and respects your space.
Mark is easy to catch and is a very easy
keeper.
Mark is for an ON FARM
lease only, and I would like the leasee
to ride 2-4 times a week.
