Meet Cliff. A 16.3 hand dark bay in the
summer, black in the winter gelding. He
raced for about a year, when he was
pulled off the track to live with a
heard of 6 miniature ponies for a year.
That's when I picked him up. I got him
for 1,000 and he had never had anyone on
his back before. After about a year of
training, I was showing him in all the
local shows and he cleaned house. He
really excels in showmanship. I have
never come across a horse as in-tune on
the ground as him. He stops when he
starts to see you lean back, and he
backs with the a simple step towards
him. He squares up on command also. I
recently had someone come up and ask me
if I was interested in starting in under
dressage because of his wonderfully long
strides. I think he would make a great
dressage or Hunter Under Saddle horse. I
used him for English Pleaseur Novice
classes and he was amazing. He has been
to all the local fairs, and he isn't
fazed by much anymore. He also loves
competitive trail riding. He is
definitely what I would consider
"bomb-proof"
I would love to see him
go to a show home, or to a trail/lesson
home.
I have many pictures of him,
and I'm in no hurry to sell him. I will
be very selective. Approved homes only.
