THANK YOU DIANNE AND GERALD*******If you
are looking for a horse that is easily
handled, esp, if you like to go out
riding with other people but have to
haul by yourself, then you will love
Prince. He is just a very laid back
horse that loves attention. He just
takes everything in stride. I rated him
as a "one" because he is so easily
handled. Yet, he isn't a dead head horse
that you have to beat or kick to make
him go on. He is perfectly content to
walk all day but will keep up with any
group of horses that you may be riding
with. If you are riding by yourself,
just kiss him up and he will do his
really smooth running walk and keep
doing it until you bring him back down
in a walk. He crosses logs, creeks, mud
puddles, bridges, and will ride anywhere
in a group of horses. He was ridden alot
by kids before we bought him, but I am
not recommending him for a child's horse
at this time.
Prince is a really
pretty darker palomino when he isn't
bleached out by the sun. He has a really
long thick mane and tail also. He has to
stay out in the pasture all year with
very little shade. So please keep that
in mind when you are looking at his
color because he will be much darker
when he sheds off in the
spring.
Prince has been exposed
and ridden around all kinds of terrain
and traffic. He was broke with an ATV
riding along side of him. He isn't a
spooky horse and has a head full of
sense. We are selling many of our horses
because of medical problems in my
family. We have a great love of horses
and it is very hard for us to sell the
ones that we have. We have owned Prince
for around a year now and a friend of
ours owned him up until the time of his
divorce. We have been fortunate to have
owned three of Prince's half brothers
also. They are all wonderful gaited
geldings and have great temperments.
Everyone that has purchased them has
absolutely loved each one of
them.
Prince will captivate your
heart with his loving ways and gentle
disposition. You don't have to catch him
in the field because when he sees you
coming, he runs up to you first. He will
follow you all over the field, also,
with his nose in your pocket, if you let
him. He stalls good and gets along great
with our other geldings. Sometimes we
wish he was alittle more agressive out
in the field so some of the other
geldings wouldn't pick on him as much as
they do.
Prince is UTD on his
shots, deworming,and a new coggins
pulled this week. We will also provide a
health certificate for shipping if
needed. He is fat and in good health
with good feet. He is ready to go to his
new home where he will be loved and
given plenty of food and shelter. It is
an ABSOLUTE must that he only goes to
this kind of home or he will not be
sold. Prince is not a horse that has
been traded around on and I will not
sell him to anyone that wants him for
this purpose. He is a keeper and a rare
find in a palomino.
We guarantee
our horses to be natural gaited horses
and try to show them in our videos so
you can see that they are not pacey or
trotty going horses. We ride them on the
road because we just don't have anywhere
else to ride them and so that you can
also see that they are very smooth going
even on hard pavement. We have letters
from previous buyers and furnish them
upon request. We prefer that you come
and ride Prince and take him out on a
trail ride so you can see for yourself
what a good natured horse that he is.
If you need anymore information
on Prince, please feel free to call or
email me. I always answer my emails, so
if you don't hear back from me, then I
didn't receive it or couldn't get one
back to you for some reason. Please, no
trades.
Thank you for looking at
Prince and many happy, safe trails.
