I am selling my Very nice Paint gelding.
He is 6 yrs old and 14.3 hands tall. He
is a bay tobiano with plenty of chrome
(very Flashy)
He has not been a
pasture ornament. He has been out and
been there and done that. He has been
ridden on the roads and trails. He is
not easily excitable at all. He has also
been shown and is very quiet among the
chaos and excitement at the shows.
He loads like a champ. stands
tied and cross tied. And he actually
stands there quietly without pawing or
fideting. He stands very still during
the grooming process. Picks up all 4
feet readily. Stands still for saddling
and is not at all girthy. He does not
even move when you take his halter off
to put his bridle on. (he accepts the
bit readily)
He has been shown
Huntseat,western,trail and showmanship
(4-h level) by a youth exhibitor. He is
currently in professional training to
perfect his skills in the above events.
He has a very pretty pitter pat jog
which he extends out to a nice long
trot. He has a cute headset. He has a
cute canter, flat kneed and deep hocked.
He has potentiol to really slown down
and collect very cute with some more
training (he is currently with the
trainer) He neck reins very easy. He is
doing training level dressage tests and
has been started on jumping. He needs
work on showmanship but he does attemp
it.
This gelding really Enjoys
working. He does not cheat you. When you
ask him to trot and lope, he is happy to
respond and does not break gait. He
comes down to slower gaits easily on
command.
He may be 6, but he
acts like a 12 yr old. I feel very
comfortable putting children and
beginners on him. He has no vices
(kicking,biting,cribbing, ect..) No
known soundness issues.
The
Trainer has used him in her lesson
program several times with children as
young as 6.
He is up to date on
shots,coggins,deworming and farrier
(just a trim)
I am asking $2000
for Him. I realize that with the current
economy some horses are cheaper, but
this is an honost nice horse that is
suitable for any level of rider. You
dont find these nice willing horses to
often. He is a true gentleman
