Well, the time has come. We have decided to sell our daughter's pony, Pony Bob. We have found her a larger pony, so we are going to offer Pony Bob for sale.

Pony Bob is approx 17yrs old which is prime for a pony! He should live to be near 40 if taken care off. He is aprox 10.2hh and is a beautiful bay paint.

He is a VERY easy keeper and only needs minimal feed and hay/grass to stay fat. He is currently eating Alfalfa Oat Pellets from Faithway which we get for less than $8/bag. One bag lasts him about 4 weeks!!!! He probably eats about 1 bale of hay a week also since he is in a dry lot with no grass. He wouldn't need to have 24hr access to all you can eat grass or hay as he will get overweight.
He gets along great with other ponies, horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, children, etc! You name it and Pony Bob will get along with it. LOL

Montana has been riding Pony Bob by herself in the arena since before she turned 2yrs old!!!

I have also used him for lessons with kids from 4-12yrs old. When left alone in an arena with a kid, he goes as slow as possible. Without the help of an adult leading or "clucking" to him, a kid would need a crop to get him into a trot in the arena. Here he is with a 12yr old girl.

Pony Bob ponies well from a horse. Jamie has ponied Montana from his horse at horse shows, etc. Pony Bob has been to many trail competitions and lead through with Montana on his back. He even goes over teeter bridges, etc!!

Pony Bob has even been in our house!! That's right! I lead him up the handicap ramp and right into the den one day. Montana was so excited and had to ride him in the house. LOL We let her and Pony Bob did great and never pooped in the house! :-)

He will stand for the farrier, to be saddled and groomed and stand tied for hours. He will even pick up his feet for little kids.

He will load right up into a horse trailer without hesitation. Pony Bob has ridden Montana WITH her Jack Russel dog in the saddle with her and has even doubled two 2yr old kids on him at the same time. That's how trust worthy this little guy is!

If someone wants Pony Bob for a Christmas present, we will be glad to board him for no charge until Christmas after payment is made.

Pony Bob has a current negative coggins that was pulled just last month.

I have a couple GREAT videos of Pony Bob that I can email anyone interested in seeing them. One is of our 2yr old daughter climbing on him by herself and the other is of an older kid riding him through obstacles, along a busy road, checking the mail, opening and closing gates, loading and unloading in a trailer, etc.

This pony is worth his weight in gold!!!

Call or email for more pics, videos and info.
Thanks,
Amber
