Apache came from MO and was trained here
in IL. He had 2 months of ground work,
round pen training, and natural
horsemanship work and then was trail
ridden for the summer. He was sitting
idle for almost a year when the owners
decided they could no longer keep him.
He has since been ridden by an
inexperienced rider on trails and by
other under 16 yr old kids. He is
rather fat and out of shape but is on a
conditioning program. He stands quietly
while tied, stands well to be saddled,
mounted, etc. He has never offered to
buck or be malicious. Was broken out in
side pull, now riding with simple
snaffle. He is used to dogs, has been
ridden while running multiple dogs.
Hope to introduce to gunfire soon.
Extremely easy keeper. Great with vet,
up to date with all vet work and
