Snip is a 4 year old mare with LOADS of
potential. She is by Son of Hickory (
Docs Hickory ) and out of Mossbar Fancy
Snip ( grandsire is SUGAR BARS ). With a
pedigree like this and her disposition
she can go any direction. Started right
with 90 days with cutting trainer Robert
Foster as a 3 year old. She Walks,
Trots, Lopes, and has a great back up to
her.
Been to two shows last summer.
Placed 3rd in the 50 yard dash @ second
show and has really picked up the barrel
pattern, has speed just haven't pushed
yet. Was shown on barrels,poles, 50, 4
corner stake, etc. Has been around cows,
trail rode all last summer 3-4 days a
week. Would not recommend for a beginner
due to her being so sensitive to cues.
But she is quiet, not a hot horse. Has
a lot of natural talent, she can cut a
barrel and can really weave in and out
on the Poles.
