Only selling this mare due to she and my
other mare (who is like my child) not
getting along. This mare is not mean , I
think she just needs a job. She "works"
my mare all day , everyday. Pushes her
down the fenceline , turns her back ,
and repeats....over and over. My mare is
lower in the hierarchy and the whole
thing just stresses her out.
Foxy was broke and started in
cutting by her original breeder. I am
her third owner. I got her from a family
who wanted something a little less
athletic for the kids to ride. I
originally got her thinking I would
train her for barrels , but she has just
ended up being a companion (and a
terrible one at that) for my other horse
and my "company" horse for when someone
comes over and wants to ride.
She is perfect for beginners to
walk around on in the arena (see photo!)
or play follow-the-leader down the
trail. To make her work , you need to
know how to ride. She works off leg
pressure and weight shifts , so you need
to know the basics to have a fun time.
She stand still for mounting , no spook
, no rear , no buck.
Foxy
has near perfect conformation and a
babydoll head to die for. She would be
perfect for someone wanting to show
halter class at local or 4-H shows as
well as give her a job. She is really
pretty and has tons of natural muscle -
even more when she is actually worked!
Open to a possible trade
(local ONLY!) for something of simlar
value. Younger is okay , looking for
something no older than 10. Registered
preferred.
Loads , leads ,
ties , bathes. Will tie at the trailer
at events without hassle.
Up to
date on coggins , teeth , shots ,
worming , hooves.
