Ranger is ideal for children just
beginning to ride. Ranger is a horse
that builds confidence. He knows his job
and takes good care of his precious
cargo. He has good ground manners,
loads, ties, bathes, picks up feet, all
with ease. Ranger may not be very flashy
but he is safe. Walking is his favorite
pace but will trot/canter willingly. He
has a very good handle, neck reins, nice
stop, ect. He rides the same way,
whether he is ridden everyday or once in
a blue moon. My little sister is 11 and
a very timid rider and feels comfortable
riding Ranger bareback with a halter.
There are some people that would not
even consider buying a 20 year old
horse, but in my experience, older
horses generally work out better.
Because they are already trained and
been around long enough that they are
forgiving to beginners and can really
boost your confidence.
Several
months ago, I was looking for a cow
horse project and came across Ranger. He
is such a sweet, friendly, well broke
horse. I bought Ranger on a whim because
I saw a horse that needed help, however,
I don't have a purpose for him. I am
looking for a good home where he will
get lots of love and attention. He is
getting fed grain and unlimited coastal
hay. He is completely sound and has a
current coggins, trimming, worming ect.
Does not drop feed or need any special
supplements. Vet check welcome! Have
pictures upon request.
Although
he is well worth every penny of the $600
I will accept any reasonable offer to a
nice home!
Would possibly
interested in trade for cow horse
prospect - needs to be broke
Price: $ 600 (Or best offer)
