This trailer is built with aluminum
frame and aluminum sheets inside and
out. White exterior with black swirl
graphic design. One unique feature of
Double D Trailers is the honeycomb
designed roofing system. The
**coretough** roughing material is light
weight yet durable enough to walk on and
doesn't have any metal material inside.
The advantage in the honey comb roof
design material is a high "R Value"
insulating factory, superior strength
over conventional "thin sheeted" roofing
systems, light weight and very safe for
your horse. Side walls in all our
trailers are thick tubing uprights
typicall 25% thicker than competition.
This allows for more stress on your
trailer without the worry of welds
breaking and cracking with time. The
flooring we absolutely love. It is built
wit 1 1/2" thick interlocking aluminum
board planks...meaning one board
(aluminum) locks into the next board.
This allows for superior strength in our
flooring system and zero maintenance on
the customer for years to come. Side
walls on Double D Trailers are fastened
with the latest 3M bonding technology.
This technology eliminates the need for
conventional screws or rivots many
manufacturers use. Sheet metal expands
and screws and rivots hinder the
expansion process, with time wallowing
out a hole around the screw. This causes
sheet metal warpage on the side with
time. With or 3M bonding technology,
this allows the metal to move freely yet
eliminates the screws and rivots,
resulting in a much stronger frame
trailer with less maintenance in the
