Kind of in a sticky situation.
I
am trying to find a free lease as
companion home for my pony mare until
the spring. I am waiting for our new
business to pick up but am not making
any money right now. She's an easy
keeper, super sweet. Not suitable for
riding. May be in foal.
I had a
place lined up for her but the other
mare she was going to be living with
ended up being way to dominant. So now
I'm trying to figure out an alternative
living situation.
I am happy to
pay for feet, worming, and all that
stuff. Hay is my biggest
concern.
Would consider some
other kind of arrangement provided we
can agree on terms regarding the foal. I
would prefer not to permanently rehome,
but may consider long term free lease as
a brood mare. She has amazing
movement.
I know it's not likely
anybody is looking for a companion for
over the winter, but it's worth a
try.
