This mare was last with a woman
named April Johnson (Thomas). She was
free leasing this mare from me. From
what I understand my mare was moved to
Deland, FL to wean her colt she had
earlier this past year. The mare was
allegedly picked up in June and moved
again. This mare was also in
companionship with a retired ApHC
(Appaloosa) broodmare called Foxy
Heiress aka Foxy. She is a 15h solid
sorrel w/blaze and hind sock. Foxy was a
lame mare (navicular) and a somewhat
hard keeper. It was my understanding
that Foxy and possibly Dixie as well was
left abandoned at some boarding barn. I
am not sure of the exact details. Ive
been trying to locate my mares for
months now. I have finally found Foxy
but Dixie is still missing. I have no
idea where Dixie is- she may have been
sold (without papers or possibly only a
copy as I have them!!!) or leased out
under false pretenses.
