Kieya is a 18 year old, flea bitten
Arabian mare with plenty of years left.
14.2 hh (is what I was told) loads,
ties, and stands for farrier like a
dream! When I got her from her previous
owner, she was about 200 lbs. under
weight. She is almost back to full
weight!!
Kieya, is a (almost)
been a been there done that horse. She
was started on barrels and did that for
two years, AMAZING trail horse, rides
English and western, competed in western
horsemanship, does poles but needs more
practice, would make a great endurance
horse. At my 4H competitions in Utah, we
would be there from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.!
With me on her the whole time! She has
lots of energy and go, if pushed. I am a
rider who is wanting to go all the way
with my barrel racing.
Intermediate to Advanced rider
because she has a very high spirit, runs
best in arenas where her buddies aren’t
around and can get A LITTLE buddy and
barn sour. She needs a little work, but
will go any direction. Has had little
children on her and did fine, but she
needs an adult who can handle her.
During the snowy seasons in Utah, I
would not ride her for four months and
get back on and she didn’t even flinch!
She is not the horse I need. I
love her but am only allowed to have one
horse at my home. She is not registered.
The previous owner said she was never
registered, but she is probably full
Arabian, because of her high tail, small
ears, little head, and bumpy trot!
