Orchid is a 6 year old registered TB
mare. She has finished her career as a
racehorse and is looking for a new home
with plenty of love to teach her a new
job. She is a winning mare from a
Seattle Slew lined sire out of a Dajur
mare and could be used for breeding. We
feel she would be an excellent project
for a confident "C" level pony clubber.
She retired completely sound and has
clean legs. She trailers fine, stands
for the farrier and vet, and has no
vices or bad habits. She loves children
and gently accepts treats from them.
Orchid is only a few weeks out of race
training so she can still be strong but
does not offer to buck or misbehave.
Since coming back to the farm she has
been ridden out alone on the trails and
