Buddy is about 14 hands, although I have
never measured him, red sorrel with
blaze and comming a 4 year old in June
of 2010. Has been trail ridden and
shown in racking class at local shows
only. Requires only a light keg shoe
front and rear. He is very friendly,
easy to catch and groom. A farier would
most likely give him a B- but he has
never been medicated to shoe. He is
hyper on the trail and wants to be
moving at all times when under
saddle.
Buddy needs to be ridden
by experienced riders for a while. My
son Samuel, is 11 and Buddy is too much
horse for him to enjoy riding. Must
ride with a tight rein all the time.
Will make an excellent show prospect or
trail horse for a young rider with more
experience than Samuel. The horse does
not rear or buck but does like to be on
the go. A lot of fun to ride.
