"Trinity" is a very pretty girl with
lots of talent. She is very friendly and
social, has great manners, and is very
level-headed. She was started lightly as
a 4 year old, then went back out to
pasture until summer '09. She is now
ready to go on and find a home and
person of her own!
Trinity comes
from fabulous Hanoverian lines, so she
would be a wonderful addition to any
breeding program. Her sire, Walk On Top,
placed second in his Stallion
Performance Test in 1992 at Rancho
Murieta, earning a perfect 10 on his
walk and 9's on temperament, ability to
work, jumping ability and trot. He is
truly an athletic stallion. Trinity's
dam was imported from Germany as a
States Premium Candidate, having scored
an impressive overall 8.0 on her Mare
Inspection, followed by a respectable
7.67 on her German Mare Performance
Test. Barilla had top scores on her
suspension and elasticity, trot and
correctness of gaits which she passes on
to her foals. Although Barilla's
pedigree is full of dressage talent, she
scored particularly well on the
free-jumping portion of her performance
test, scoring an 8 and 9. As an added
bonus, Barilla is a 5th generation
Elite/States Premium mare along her
damline.
Trinity is fun to work
with, learns so quickly, and really
enjoys having a job. She has a nice big
walk, a lofty trot, and a fabulous,
balanced canter. Although she doesn't
have much mileage yet, she is easy and
uncomplicated to ride. She is sensitive
to your aids and has a lot of energy,
although she is never "hot". Does not
require lunging before getting on, and
she can sit for days between rides. She
has been under saddle regularly since
August '09. Trinity would make a
fantastic Event or Combined Training
horse. She loves to run, and is now
starting her work over fences. With
regular work and someone who can give
Trinity the time and attention she
deserves, she will develop into a
fantastic competitor. She already has
the looks and the movement, she's just
searching for her partner! Loads, clips,
ties, stands in the wash rack, and is
good for the vet and farrier. Travels
well, not spooky. Sound, sane, and ready
