We bought this mare as a confidence builder for our teen daughter. She became that and much more. My daughter rides her Western, English or bareback on the trail. She even took our 3 year old granddaughter out on the front of the English saddle. Nothing bothers this mare on the trail. She's calm but will get up and go if you ask. She has extremely smooth gaits. My daughter now has a second horse and doesn't have time for both.
