13 year old STB gelding - very lovely
horse. Doesn't look like a typical STB.
Has body type and face of a
Thoroughbred. Was a rescue last spring -
was underweight at the time. Since
gained weight, teeth floated in March,
seen farrier every 6-8wks. Great ground
manners. Ties, picks feet up, no bite,
kick, or vices. Gets along well with
other horses - tends to be low horse in
herd. Does ok undersaddle - not
cantering much yet, but with time I
think the right trainer could bring it
out of him. Shows potential for lower
level jumping, dressage, or eventing. I
think his real talent is going to be
trails though. Fairly fearless, will
work through anything. Ex-racer
(trotter). Went through New Vocations in
2002. Will occasionally pace - perfect
for someone who would like to ride
trails at a smooth gait. With some
consistency, Rebel has the potential to
be a really great horse for someone -
very sweet disposition. Will sell to
