I have not had Lynx long but due to
financial reasons ONLY, I must sell him.
I purchased him 1 year ago from Poplar
Creek Canadians. They used him for
driving. They also started him under
saddle 18 months before I purchased him.
We took him to the mountains in May 09
and hitched him to a wagon with another
horse. He did fabulous. He does not
slack off at all and puts his weigt
nicely into the harness. We also used
Lynx to hitch up another horse to start
under harness. That same trip we rode
him in the mountains also. Due to a
busy schedule (4 kids and working)I have
only ridden him 6 times in the last
year. If you are an experience rider
you will have not problems. With time
and consistancy he will be a very quiet
horse. He loads nice and stands for the
ferrier. Truly a beautiful horse. I
love him and it breaks my heart to have
to sell him. He was used as a stud with
Poplar Creek and was cut about 3yrs ago.
He has an old style Canadian look to
him. He is black in the summer and his
winter coat is a darkbrown/black color.
I can forward photos.
