Dixie is a 12 yr old strawberry roan
mare. She is well mannered and gets
along with other horses. Dixie is a
sweet mare, and is a youth horse. Dixie
was my first horse, and has taught me
and many other people how to ride. Just
climb up there, and she will follow the
other horses. She will lead or follow on
the trail. She loads, stands for the
farrier, and ties like a dream, and
bathes pretty well. I have rode her in
almost every parade i can ride in. She
has never spooked or acted crazy not
once in them. I also rode her on a 16
mile road ride all day in July, and she
never got tired. She could have kept
going. Me and my cousins have rode her
all over, our farm, in parades, on
trails, and on the road. She will go
alone, or with a group. Just kick and
she will go. She neck reins good, or she
will plow rein. She can be trained to
whatever you want to train her to. She
is an awesome horse, and I really dont
want to see her go, but I have gotten
into barrel racing and I need the money
for a new barrel horse. I want her to go
to a good home where she can be rode and
loved. I will trade for a barrel horse.
